The developer and producer of the Zemrock system is master builder Christoph Zechner.
After completing his bricklayer apprenticeship, he successfully completed the part-time foreman, construction manager and finally master builder examinations.
After approximately 20 years of construction experience, he decided to venture into self-employment and founded the sole proprietorship ‘Zechner Christoph FUX Bau u. Sachverständigen Büros’. This company specializes in planning, consulting, and construction coordination, as well as expert reports in the construction sector.
Founding of ZEMROCK GmbH
The passion for the construction industry continued to grow, and with many years of expertise, the formwork system for the ZEMROCK retaining wall was created. Starting with wooden formwork, the system has been continually developed. Now, the retaining wall blocks are cast in solid steel formwork in our own production facility, thus creating the final product.
Exclusive partnership
Since January 1, 2025, SW Umwelttechnik Österreich GmbH has been the exclusive partner of ZEMROCK GmbH and is authorized to manufacture and distribute retaining wall blocks using the ZEMROCK formwork system.
In September, another step towards the future was taken. A strong company in the concrete industry became Zemrock's new licence partner in Slovenia.
We are happy to welcome Tehnobeton M. d.o.o to the Zemrock family and to bring our product beyond the Austrian borders.
